
Do you wonder why some people get results and it feels like you aren’t?
Maybe you are too busy looking at others and how they are getting results.

Maybe you need to look inside instead of outside.
Maybe you are forcing and rushing healing. Looking for change and not seeing it quick enough so you decide its not working. Did you know that this healing is healing on a cellular level? So, that means by the time we actually see proof of it we have already healed so much on the inside. We can not base our healing on the external results. Let go of that timeline and stop getting in the way of your body doing its healing thing. Give it an environment that is a foundation for healing (7 keys in NSR) and the rest will fall into place. Stop getting in the way. (Our SLIPS will do that.)
Let me be really honest. The ones who get results are the ones who jump in with both feet. Fully committed to the work. Not leaving out certain SLIPS. Go read the SLIP list and check, have you been allowing some of those? Could that by why you might not be getting results?
Do you do your PAUSE, then go back to living life like you always have been? We can not expect to heal from the life that caused our illness and go back to living the same way.
Another point. with in the brain retraining community there are those who are fully committed. We must respect each other and how we all are healing. But, there is a certain level of expectation we do develop towards our friends and family that also join us on the brain retraining path. It can be such a let down when we find out our loved ones are barely doing it. We see how dysregulated they still are and yet they just don’t do what they could do to NOT be dysregulated. These situations go both ways. #1 the one struggling can maybe use this as motivation and accountability. Let the one who seems to be fully committed inspire you to also get more diligent. Join them and turn a competing situation into an accountability situation. #2 For the one that is disappointed in the other, let them go. Turn back inward and realize the biggest change in how this let down effects you is not to shame the other but to work on your own self.
This type of work can also be a fad. A thing people jump on. But, its not like the rest. This work REQUIRES your participation. Its not just taking a pill or learning a new topic. It is you physically exercising the parts of your brain, choosing differently. When tough situations come up, how will you respond? When new symptoms arise, how will you respond? When in a negative conversation, will you take part? When you are seriously overwhelmed, what do you do? When you sit in the doctor’s office, how do you talk? When you have an opportunity to try something new, do you take it? When limby is active, do you offer her tools of support? There is an answer to all of these questions that motivates healing or keeps us in the illness.
ARE YOU DOING IT?
The short answer is, if you want it, you just got to do it. And every day too. Not once you have time, or if it works. Not once it gets bad or you have no other option. Decide that starting today, you will do it. You will show up for these dysregulated parts of you every single day. You will do the tools like you brush your teeth. Taking care of ourselves is no longer just showering and brushing our teeth and eating. Its supporting the nervous system. Nurturing it, being aware of its patterns and changing them. THIS changes the future. It stops generational traumas from continuing on to your children. It gives you and your children a better future. Do you want it? Then do it. Do it like your life depends on it. Join those who committed and committed and turned it into a lifestyle and healed from all manner of so called incurable illnesses. YOU CAN TOO. All it takes is deciding its important. It’s a priority and that’s it. Join the groups, laugh the stress away, just don’t try to do it alone or all on your own. AND THAT IS HOW YOU GET RESULTS. BY DOING IT. That is how all those great stories came to be. BY DOING IT. They aren’t more special than you. They aren’t more perfect candidates. They are and were human just like you. They realized they had a choice, and they had just been taught the tools to change, so why not just do them. They could no longer sit in the dysregulation, the excuses were over, the ruminating and complaining were out the window and new paths were started. Change would happen if they just decided to commit. They committed and life was never the same.
Instead of letting life run over you, bumbling along with your subconscious mind leading the way, you change. You take the lead. With Jesus by your side, you can live an intentional life that makes all the difference. Its not always easy but its worth it. There is nobody that can do it for you. The keys are all there, you do them, you get results. Give it as long as it needs, all you got to do is show up every day, as long as it takes, and the rest will fall into place.
It is so very worth it. Trust me.
You can do it. Start today by committing to one week. Win your week and do it for another week. Set an attainable goal and reward yourself. Over time the results will add motivation to keep going. Make it a lifestyle of tools you use you couldn't imagine living without. Surround yourself with those that are doing it too. Tell someone your new intention to hold you accountable. You've always had healing within you, we've just got to create an environment within you to allow it to happen.
